News of a Kansas tuberculosis outbreak centered in Wyandotte and Johnson County comes as likely tens of thousands of fans from the region are about to head to the Super Bowl which will be played indoors at New Orleans Caesars Superdome.

Also known as TB, tuberculosis is a contagious illness that can be fatal if left untreated.
