As the Dodgers prepare to celebrate their World Series victory at the White House, Mookie Betts has yet to make a final decision on whether he’ll attend.

Mookie Betts has a history of carefully deciding whether or not to attend the White House after previous World Series victories. Both in 2018 with the Boston Red Sox and in 2020 with the Dodgers, Betts gained a World Series ring, but in 2019 elected not to visit President Trump.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was asked again on Wednesday about the Los Angeles Dodgers going to the White House to celebrate as World Series champions. The Dodgers visit the Washington Nationals for a series beginning April 7, so their visit is slated for less than a week from Roberts' latest comments.
