President Trump's attempt to end congestion in New York City was top of mind at the MTA board meeting on Wednesday. Gov. Kathy Hochul was on hand and spoke about her trip to the White House to try to convince the administration to reconsider pulling the plug of the controversial tolling plan.

The Federal Highway Administration said the Metropolitan Transportation Authority must stop collecting tolls by that date to allow for an "orderly cessation."
