NASCAR releases 2026 schedules
NASCAR also released the 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and Craftsman Truck Series schedules Wednesday. North Wilkesboro, which last hosted a points race in 1996, has been the site of the All-Star Race the past three seasons. Competitors said in May they wanted to see the historic track host a points race again.

Chase Elliott's first DNF of the season means he's out of the running for Regular Season Champion. After a clean first stage of racing in the penultimate race of the NASCAR Cup Series regular season at Richmond Raceway, three close cautions snowballed into a crash that collected 13 drivers.
Freddie Kraft, the spotter for Bubba Wallace, was not too bummed out about the No. 23 Toyota losing a wheel on pit road at Richmond. On the Door Bumper Clear podcast, Kraft reacted to the incident that happened during the final stage of the NASCAR Cup Series race.
