As per the latest trends for the 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir, the National Conference (NC) and the Congress, which contested the elections together, are set for a comfortable majority.

Omar Abdullah is contesting from Central Kashmir’s Budgam and Ganderbal constituencies, where polls were conducted on September 25.

The Jammu Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) is leading in the assembly elections, while the BJP and other parties trail behind. Counting continues for the first elected government in J&K since the abrogation of Article 370.
