Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel team up for ‘NTR 31,’ a standalone action drama. Filming starts late 2024, with a release slated for January 2026.

Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel are teaming up for NTR 31, an action drama set to be a standalone film, breaking the trend of multipart film series. Rukmini Vasanth of Sapta Sagaradache Ello fame is rumoured to play the female lead.

Following the massive success of Devara, all eyes are on NTR’s 31st project, which will be directed by mass action entertainers specialist Prashanth Neel. Tentatively titled Dragon, the film is a joint production by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts banners.

The shoot for the movie, dubbed as NTR 31, is expected to begin in Hyderabad by October-end or November first week. Jr NTR is supposed to join the set in the month between January and February 2025. Rukmini Vasanth is expected to play the female lead,
