Though the Knicks’ starters showed promise in their 15 minutes of play during Sunday’s preseason opener against the Charlotte Hornets, head coach Tom Thibodeau made it clear that the team has much to improve upon if they want to fully tap into their potential.

Thibodeau has been known as a coach to run his starters into the ground and it plays a part in the team losing during the playoffs. If New York is to have any sort of success this season late, they'll need that to not be the case. The good news is that they are deeper this year than in years past.
