Trump has appeared to set a two-week deadline for Vladimir Putin, threatening a different response if the Russian counterpart was still stringing him along.

Instead of negotiating peace with President Donald Trump, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is escalating his attacks against innocent Ukrainian civilians.

However, Trump’s rhetoric surrounding Russia, traditionally sympathetic to Putin’s aims, has shifted in recent weeks as his attempts to end the war continue to be thwarted.At the weekend, Trump warned that if Putin threatened to conquer all of Ukraine he would bring about the “downfall” of Russia.

The transfer marks a major violation of international sanctions and signals Moscow’s deepening military alliance with North Korea following the signing of a strategic partnership treaty last June.
