James Gunn Confirms 'Wonder Woman' Movie in the Works

A "Wonder Woman" movie is officially on the way from the DCU. That's the word from DC Studios co-chief James Gunn. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly for the promotional lead-up to next month's "Superman" release, Gunn revealed that the "Wonder Woman" movie is "being written right now."

Gunn also confirmed to EW that no one has yet been cast as Wonder Woman, indicating that previous WW actor Gal Gadot is well and truly out. That's not a huge surprise, given that Patty Jenkins, director of the first two Wonder Woman films, previously confirmed that she's not moving forward with Wonder Woman 3.
