We have had our Kirby g4 for 28 years and the only part we have replaced was the power cord. WE have used the vacuum daily and the carpet cleaning attachment many times.

I am original owner of G4 vacuum since the 90s. In 2022 my Kirby motor finally gave out. I sent it to Kirby Vacuum in Ohio for a rebuilt. Paid $400 plus the shipping of over $200.
