The View” hosts Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Anna Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin appeared on the Jan. 21 episode of the ABC daytime talk show to discuss Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration (Whoopi Goldberg is out this week due to a previously planned work commitment).
Hostin made the quip during a discussion about Behar tracing her family history on the PBS series "Finding Your Roots."
While Behar scoffed at Trump for “feeling sorry for himself” while telling Hannity that he “went through hell” fighting numerous legal battles the last few years, and co-host Sunny Hostin reminded viewers that the president had eventually been convicted on 34 felony counts, Griffin struck a different tone.
"The View" cohost also took the opportunity to highlight the “hypocrisy” and “irony” of Trump’s Inauguration Day.
