The Czech attacking midfielder has interest from Premier League sides and Bundesliga teams as he eyes a big transfer move this summer

Tottenham Hotspur are apparently convinced that a potential £35 million Premier League forward is "sold" on joining them this summer.

This summer is expected to be an incredibly busy one for Tottenham, after their squad depth was exposed badly, and TT has looked at four players the club should sign who could also help finally silence talk over Ange Postecoglou's future in north London.

Football Insider has been told by Stefan Borson Tottenham are facing "problems" after an official request has been submitted.

Tottenham Hotspur is eyeing not one but two Southampton players this summer transfer window. They want Tyler Dibling and Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

Southampton did negotiate an option to take Danso permanently for £3m – according to Sky – but ultimately decided not to trigger that clause in the summer of 2020, with the central defender moving back to Germany for another loan spell, this time at Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Before all of this – however – Gareth Bale was actually a much maligned figure at Tottenham, with one remark by Sir Alex Ferguson leaving Harry Redknapp puzzled. Manchester United actually tried to sign Bale while David Moyes was at the helm, but Ferguson wouldn’t have gone anywhere near the speedy winger once upon a time.

Chelsea's 4-0 win against Southampton temporarily puts them back in the top four of the Premier League, but doesn't resolve underlying issues. Fan protests highlight a growing disconnect between supporters and the club's ownership, echoing similar sentiments at other clubs like Tottenham and Manchester United.
