Glenn totaled 216.79 points between Thursday’s short program and Friday’s free skate in Wichita, Kansas. She turned a 5.45-point deficit to Liu after the short to a victory over Liu by 1.46 points.

Levito, the 2024 World silver medalist and 2023 U.S. champion, joins this year’s U.S. gold and silver medalists — Amber Glenn and Alysa Liu — on the world team. Levito’s place is “pending a return to play protocol.”
Alysa Liu won her first senior U.S. figure skating title at age 13. She retired at age 16. She has come back at age 19 and now leads after the short program at her first nationals in three years. Liu tallied 76.
A strong free skate gave Glenn a winning score of 216.79, edging Alysa Liu (215.33) and 18-year-old Sarah Everhardt, from Haymarket, Virginia.
