The reigning rookie of the year is an NBA All-Star for the first time, with the 21-year-old from France one of the 14 players announced Thursday night as members of the reserve pool for the midseason exhibition that will take place Feb. 16 at the home of the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco.

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard will join his All-NBA teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo on the 2025 NBA All-Star team this season as a reserve, the "Inside The NBA" hosts announced on TNT. As TNT's social team observes, Lillard has just made his second team in his two seasons with Milwaukee.

Jaylen Brown was announced Thursday as one of the seven All-Star reserves from the Eastern Conference. It was the third straight All-Star nod and fourth in the last five years for Brown, who will join East starter Jayson Tatum at the midseason showcase in San Francisco on Feb. 16.

There will be at least 15 players who "start" at the All-Star Game this season. It's the first year of a new All-Star format, with three games. The 24 All-Stars will be drafted into three teams of eight players apiece by TNT personalities and former NBA greats Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith.
