Catherine Middleton's cancer is now in remission according to a personal statement from the Princess of Wales herself. Hello! Magazine reports that Catherine's personal statement was delivered to thank The Royal Marsden's staff members and applaud them for the skilled care they provided to her over the past year.

The Princess of Wales, who revealed in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer after speculation surrounding her whereabouts, said on Tuesday she is in remission.

The problem is that a complete remission does not mean the cancer is gone. Even when a cancer is “cured” — defined as no evidence of cancer for five years — it may not be vanquished.
