Part of the reason for Galloway’s struggles stems from the knee injury he suffered at the end of the 2023-24 season. He underwent offseason knee surgery and didn’t participate in summer workouts, which he noted after Indiana’s 82-69 win over USC on Jan. 8 led to what he implied was a lack of chemistry early in the season.

On the ensuing Maryland possession, Indiana had a foul to give but failed to use it and guard Rodney Rice nailed a three-pointer to give the Terps a 79-78 lead with seven seconds left. After a timeout, Indiana botched its final possession and the boos rained down.

The Hoosiers had a quality win against Maryland all but bottled up. Then Indiana didn't foul, had late substitutions and poor execution on its last play.

Fans were not happy with Indiana's Mike Woodson after most recent loss. The Hoosier faithful booed the coach again after the loss. However, after the loss, Woodson decided to do the unthinkable.

Indiana basketball, as the Hoosiers are fighting for their NCAA Tournament lives in every game. After making a ton of high-profile additions in the transfer portal, Indiana took a while to gel together and start playing some good basketball.
