Taron Egerton and Dennis Lehane re-team for another satisfying true crime series with the arson thriller on Apple TV+.

However, speaking from a fan's point of view, the streaming service is a reliable port of call for just about every genre of well-produced, imaginative movies and series made by some of the best creators and actors in the game.

The prolific author’s novels were the basis for several star-studded movies, including Clint Eastwood’s “Mystic River” starring Sean Penn, Martin Scorsese’s “Shutter Island” with Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ben Affleck’s directorial debut “Gone Baby Gone.” (Affleck also revisited Lehane’s work in his 2016 movie “Live By Night” ).
