Authorities have identified a bicyclist who died from his injuries after being hit by a driver on Jan. 20. On Jan. 20, 2025, at approximately 12:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of Atlantic Avenue and Pleasant Street regarding an injury traffic collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist.

It happened at around 12:15 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Atlantic Avenue, police said.

Police are searching for a suspect after an elderly man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Long Beach. The victim was identified as Enrique Barajas, 80, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
