To accompany the announcement, Byrne released the lead single “Everybody Laughs,” a kaleidoscopic and joyous capturing of society, particularly New Yorkers: “Everybody’s going through the garbage/Looking for inspiration/Someone find it staring at the ceiling/Of the subway station.”
Dave Matthews Band also performed the 1983 song during their own induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Byrne and his trademark dance moves also recently joined another pop star onstage when he and Robyn performed her "Dancing on My Own" and the Talking Heads' "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)" during the all-star SNL 50 concert.

David Byrne Announces New Album ‘Who Is the Sky?’ With Appearances From St. Vincent, Hayley Williams
Produced by Kid Harpoon, who produced Harry Styles’s “As It Was” and Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers,” the album will feature guest appearances from St. Vincent, Paramore’s Hayley Williams and The Smile drummer Tom Skinner. The album was also arranged by New York’s Ghost Train Orchestra.
The former Talking Heads frontman returns to Northeast Ohio with his new album "Who Is The Sky?" and a mobile 13 member ensemble for a Sept. 19 show.
