New Blood isn't in Resurrection, and it seems like the sequel show is ignoring her and the earlier show altogether.

Krysten Ritter is an American actress who's starred in some major television hits. She's played Jessica Jones in the Marvel Universe, Jane on Breaking Bad, Kira on Orphan Black, Chloe on Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, and Gia on Veronica Mars.

New Blood' to take his serial killer protagonist to New York City, where he encounters familiar faces and new threats.

Before waking up, Dexter also sees other ghosts from his past: Miguel (Jimmy Smits), who he killed in the Season 3 finale of the original series; his father, Harry (James Remar); and finally, Sergeant Doakes (Erik King), who he killed in the Season 2 finale.

Resurrection give us a new setting, a new hero, a parade of fun guest stars, and – most importantly – a compelling reason for Dexter being back at all.

In addition to the leading man, Michael C. Hall, "Dexter: Resurrection" also stars Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Emilia Suárez, James Remar, and Peter Dinklage. Neil Patrick Harris, Krysten Ritter, Eric Stonestreet, and David Dastmalchian are on hand as guest stars.
