The largely peaceful protests during the "No Kings Day" demonstration in downtown Los Angeles took an intense turn in the afternoon. Police ordered the crowd to disperse at about 4:15 p.m. PDT near Alameda Street and Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division.

Thousands of people in Collin and Denton counties joined the No Kings protests on Saturday as a part of a nationwide movement.
Around 15,000 people showed up for Houston’s “No Kings” protest Saturday morning, and the guy in the American flag mask towered over the rest of the crowd. At the edge of the protest, he was moving fast and purposefully, and when he bumped me, he nearly knocked me off the sidewalk.
