Days after Moscow, Idaho, police released nearly 200 gruesome photos of the crime scene following Bryan Kohberger’s 2022 stabbing spree, the families of victims Madison Mogen and Ethan Chapin sued the city.

Kohberger was arrested and charged with the murders of four University of Idaho students in December 2022. Mogen, Goncalves, Kernodle and Chapin were all stabbed to death in their off-campus rental home in Moscow, Idaho, on Nov. 13, 2022.

Newly released documents are revealing more details from what a surviving roommate of the University of Idaho murders heard in her house while Bryan Kohberger was inside.

Lori Vallow Daybell, the eastern Idaho mother convicted of murdering her own children, is back in the custody of the Idaho Department of Correction.

Mogen's mother, Karen Laramie, petitioned the Latah County District Court for an injunction to prevent further record releases pertaining to her bedroom.

The investigators do not believe the suspect uttered any names,” Moscow Police Chief Anthony Dahlinger told the Idaho Statesman.

Families would get up to $5,000 per student for eligible education expenses, including private school tuition, under a new Idaho law.

Lori Vallow Daybell was extradited from Estrella Jail in Phoenix, out of Maricopa County Sheriff's Office's custody, and taken to the Pocatello Women's Correctional Center in Idaho.
