Mayor Raisa Treñas of this city has pressed Metro Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW) to accelerate its infrastructure projects as the city continues to grapple with inconsistent water supply.

Parts of Roxas Boulevard in Manila were already passable to all types of vehicles on Sunday morning after being submerged in floods, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
