CBS News got a rare look inside a new U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Newark, New Jersey, where Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested last week. Baraka was charged with trespassing and was taken into custody during his visit to the ICE detention center on Friday.

DHS secretary Kristi Noem on Tuesday called for censuring Congress members who stormed a detention center. She committing a felony and endangering law enforcement and detainees.

They don’t deserve to be in the House,” Noem said of the New Jersey lawmakers involved in the incident. “They should be censured by it.”

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka returned to the gates of an ICE detention center days after he was arrested for allegedly trespassing at the same facility.

Ras Baraka, the Democratic mayor of Newark, New Jersey, was arrested on Friday while joining members of Congress at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center, according to interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba.

American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey Executive Director Amol Sinha, in a statement sent to Newsweek via email on Friday: "The arrest of Mayor Ras Baraka by the Department of Homeland Security is a shameful escalation of the Trump administration's intimidation campaign against officials who refuse to do their bidding."
