The National Transportation Safety Board held its first of a three-day investigative hearing Wednesday on the midair collision that took place in January by Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport,

The details came out of the first day of National Transportation Safety Board hearings in Washington, where investigators aim to uncover insights into what caused the January collision that killed 67.

One of the attorney's representing the victims say it's clear the agency overlooked data and information that could have brought issues into the spotlight before a collision happened.
