The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially signed their 2025 first-round draft pick, wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, on Friday. Selected 19th overall, Egbuka joins the Buccaneers after a stellar collegiate career at Ohio State Buckeyes, where he became the school’s all-time leader in receptions (205) and ranked second in receiving yards (2,868).

The Bucs have been fast and furious signing their 2025 rookie draft class. After signing four players on Thursday, Tampa Bay announced on Friday that they have signed first round pick Emeka Egbuka to his rookie deal.

When he was a college freshman, Egbuka attended church with teammates and said he encountered God in a “supernatural way.” He draws inspiration from his favorite Bible verse, Psalms 37:4: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
