A Hawick man who admitted three shoplifting offences at the Co-op in Jedburgh has been fined a total of £150 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.

Following their return to Ireland at the weekend with two sold-out shows at Dublin’s Croke Park, the Britpop star spoke about the reunion tour.

Tensions have soared between the two neighbouring countries following the overthrow of Syrian president Bashar Assad in December.
