Virginia Beach police have confirmed that John McCoy III, the suspect who killed two officers Friday, is the same man who appeared in a WTKR News 3 story nearly two decades ago.

Two teens have been taken into custody in connection to a fight that broke out — leaving a teen boy seriously hurt — during a basketball game at Kempsville High against Salem High, police say.
