One killed in single vehicle crash in Greenville County
One person is dead following a single vehicle crash in Greenville County Monday morning. South Carolina Highway Patrol said a 2020 Kia Soul was traveling south on Elizabeth Drive near Yorkshire Drive in Greenville just after 9 a.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said it is responding to a deadly crash. Officials said the crash happened Saturday on the 3000 block of West Blue Ridge Drive. Further details are limited at this time.

South Carolina teacher vacancies drop; departures decline, CERRA says
Districts reported a 32% decrease in teacher vacancies compared to last year, or 706 compared to 1,043. The districts also reported a 5% decrease in departures from last year: 19% retiring from the profession and 25% transferring to another public school district in the state.
