Former Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. is planning a comeback in the NBA, hoping to revive his professionall career

According to multiple reports, Dennis Smith Jr. is set to work out with the Mavs next week as the point guard looks to continue his NBA career. Smith was selected ninth overall by Dallas in the 2017 NBA draft, but only spent a season and a half with the franchise before being sent to New York Knicks in the blockbuster trade for Kristaps Porzingis.

Sixers fans may be familiar with Mintz, who signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Sixers on Sept 1. The 6-3 point guard also played with the team during preseason. After being waived on Oct. 16, he joined the Delaware Blue Coats. Mintz’s highlight this season was scoring a career-high 45 points against the Long Island Nets in the G League.
