The teams at the top of the MIAA girls’ basketball tournament brackets — Wachusett and Bishop Feehan (Division 1), Medfield (Division 2), Foxborough and St. Mary’s (Division 3), Cathedral (Division 4), and Hoosac Valley (Division 5) — are very familiar in a 217-team field.

Bourne (Div.4, No. 4) and St. John Paul II (Div. 5, No. 6) were both seeded in the top 10 in its respective divisions. They both went the furthest last season as each appeared in the Elite Eight. They will look take another step further with a Final Four, or even State Final, game.
