Despite having the best regular season in program history, Kansas baseball's tenure in the NCAA Tournament was short-lived.

FAYETTEVILLE — Fourth-seeded North Dakota State baseball kept its season alive with a 4-3 victory over second-seeded Kansas at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional on Saturday at Baum-Walker Stadium.

On Saturday night, Texas and UTSA will meet at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in the winner's bracket of the NCAA Tournament's Austin Regional. Texas opened its most-recent NCAA Tournament appearance with Friday's 7-1 win over Houston Christian while UTSA's 10-2 beating of Kansas State was the program's first-ever triumph in the NCAA Tournament.

The Creighton offense exploded in the middle innings of Kansas' Friday game, sending the Jayhawks to an elimination game on Saturday at the Fayetteville Regional.

The road to Omaha, Nebraska is set, as the full 2025 NCAA Baseball Tournament bracket was unveiled Monday afternoon. Though the 16 regional host sites were already known, we now know the full 64-team field and where teams will play during the regional round.
