Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has said he told the G7 leaders gathered in Canada that "diplomacy is now in a state of crisis" after the US president Donald Trump left the summit a day early to address the conflict in the Middle East.

CALGARY — The Manitoba government has signed an agreement with an area of Ukraine to support reconstruction efforts. Premier Wab Kinew made the announcement in Calgary following the G7 leaders’ summit in nearby Kananaskis. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had been scheduled to meet with Kinew but left early.

Russia fired 138 drones at targets across Ukraine in its latest overnight aerial assault, Kyiv’s air force has reported. Ukraine said they shot down 84 of the drones, and 41 more were either lost or downed using electronic warfare.
