As a result of his actions, though, Major League Baseball opted to suspended him for a single game on Friday afternoon. Chisholm, the league said, violated its social media policy for his conduct. Chisholm is expected to appeal the suspension.

New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. was suspended for one game and fined by Major League Baseball on Friday following his ejection during a game at the Tampa Bay Rays and violation of MLB’s social media policy.

Chisholm argued balls and strikes, was ejected, then posted on social media during the game against league and MLBPA policies.
