Nintendo Co. fans from Tokyo to Manhattan stood in line for hours to be among the first to get a Switch 2, fueling one of the biggest global gadget debuts since the iPhone launches of yesteryear.

After eight years and more than 150 million Nintendo Switch sales, the video game giant released its follow up handheld game console — the Switch 2 — on Thursday.

The team has also cranked out this list of key questions about all the hardware and software changes in a console they do not call Le Switch Deux in France.
