Nebraska volleyball's Rebekah Allick continues to garner national attention with her play, as the Big Ten Conference awarded her her second defensive player of the week honor on Monday. The junior middle blocker shared the award with Purdue's Ali Hornung.

Allick averaged 2.00 blocks per set to go along with 2.17 kills per set on .455 hitting in the Huskers' sweeps of Illinois and Iowa.

The conference announced the news on Monday, with Allick sharing the honor with Purdue’s Ali Hornung. It’s the second weekly honor the season already for Allick. Last week, she averaged 2.0 blocks per set as well as 2.17 kills per frame on .455 hitting to help the Huskers sweep both Illinois and Iowa.
