The new offering follows the success of Polymarket-style event trading, but with CFTC-regulated contracts in the U.S.

Robinhood’s stock rose 8% on the Nasdaq after it announced a new betting markets hub in partnership with Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated prediction market platform.

Nevada and New Jersey have already taken similar action, after both issued cease-and-desist letters to Kalshi and New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement also reached out to Robinhood directly.
