An Omaha woman who pleaded no contest to helping a felon evade arrest by law enforcement was sentenced Tuesday in Douglas County District Court to one year of probation.

The Menendez brothers are scheduled to make their cases for parole Thursday, marking the closest they've been to freedom since their convictions almost 30 years ago for murdering their parents.
