A Mega Millions player has claimed the largest lottery prize in Virginia history after hitting a $348 million jackpot — and now they plan to buy a lawn mower.

The $348 million jackpot in the June 27 Mega Millions drawing was won by a ticket bought at an E&C Mid-Atlantic convenience store at 14878 Northumberland Highway in Burgess.

At $348 million, it’s the largest lottery jackpot won in Virginia, and the lucky winner already has their eyes on a big purchase: a zero-radius riding lawn mower.

The Virginia winner of the $348 million Mega Millions jackpot in June will remain anonymous, but did reveal the first purchase will be zero-turn riding lawn mower.

The $348 million jackpot in the June 27 Mega Millions drawing was won by a single ticket, which was bought at E & C Mid Atlantic, located at 14878 Northumberland Highway in Burgess. That ticket matched all six winning numbers: 18-21-29-42-50 and the Mega Ball number 2.
