Sixty years ago, the place we know today as Canadian Tire Motorsport Park was a farm. At that time, who could have foreseen that the best drivers and the fastest cars in the world would come to this pastoral place and race on one of the world's most challenging tracks, providing the best excitement and entertainment that motor racing has to offer.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's renowned 3.957-km (2.459-mi.) Grand Prix track opened in 1961. Today it is CTMP's centrepiece and primary spectator facility. This high-speed circuit comprises 10 turns and several dramatic elevation changes that confront drivers with an exciting variety of challenges on every lap.

(Monday, Oct 16, 2023) Bowmanville ON - Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) confirmed today that the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli, the longest-running professional road racing series in North America, will return to Canada in 2024 at the Labour Day Sprints Weekend event.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park has your ticket to Fast Family Fun, and you won’t have to break the bank to enjoy it. Admission is free for children 16 and under (when accompanied by a paying adult).

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park offers a variety of ways for you to drive on our racing circuits in supervised lapping or driver training sessions. Track days are organized and managed by several different service providers, for both cars and motorcycles, with packages to suit most high-performance driver needs and desires.

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is home to a permanent, purpose built karting facility designed to accommodate a range of activities from fun events to serious, high-level kart racing. The 1.5 km track, reconfigured and repaved in 2014 can be set up in multiple configurations and includes 12 turns and several elevation c
