David Theodore Creighton (June 24, 1930 – August 18, 2017) was a Canadian ice hockey forward. [1] Creighton started his National Hockey League career with the Boston Bruins in 1948. He would also play with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Black Hawks, and New York Rangers.

Also known as the West End Bruins, the team was crowned Memorial Cup champions in 1948 after sweeping the Barrie Flyers in four games. The final series was held at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.

The American Hockey League had announced that Creighton was one of four individuals selected for induction to the AHL Hall of Fame at a ceremony to be held on February 7, 2022. In his early days, Creighton was a standout in junior locally with the fabled Port Arthur West End Bruins.
