Apr 18, 2011 · You are correct, they are "Continuations" as only 1960s biult cars are FORD GT40s. And the Gulf point is correct, even Ford could not use the "Gulf" moniker on the 2006 Ford GTs, the had to be sold as "Heritage" livery! The Gulf colors are a matter of question as the colors used were existing BL colors and not original to JW or Gulf.

Aug 27, 2020 · The "kit" will not come with everything you need to build your car (at least on the RCR end). You might want to check through the forum and see who's in your neighborhood. There are RCR40's near Bellingham, Arlington, Tacoma, Bainbridge Island, and 2 in the Portland vicinity and I am sure any one would be happy to share their experiences.

I will build the rest of the car in my mind off of that combination. I am kind not a purist on the GT40, do like my hand in on some of the ideas, but I am partial to a 302 of some sort. 400 hp deisred.
