Jul 23, 2023 · Operational control of Iowa Speedway was shifted to Kansas Speedway’s office personnel. Now, the 2022/2023 Hy Vee IndyCar events were essentially a track rental. Hy Vee rents the track and does all of the promotions, marketing, scheduling, etc. Hy Vee brought IndyCar and the concerts and maintains operational control over the entire event.

May 13, 2020 · Iowa is the first track I will be racing on and I'm looking for tips and tricks for the series itself first. How do I manage the faster and lighter cars compared to the heavy street stock I would drive in rookies? Secondly, what are some tips for Iowa specifically? Do I need to break at all or can I stay on the throttle and ease up on turns?

I’m planning to go to Luke Combs at the Iowa Speedway IndyCar Series. I’m wondering if anyone knows if there are shuttles from any hotels to the speedway? Or if there’s shuttles/buses from local bars. Hotels are booked up near the Speedway and we plan on drinking so trying to plan how we’ll get to and from. Thanks in advance!!

I doubt they would have held a race in Iowa at all if they intended it to purely be a one-off. Yeah they were negotiating with Montreal for this particular race but taking a race from Richmond makes way more sense now if they need one for there or Mexico City. Especially if Hy-Vee wants to help support it

Indycar and Hyvee just recently put on a packed house double-header at iowa speedway. If indycar can do that, what’s stopping nascar from doing the same? Especially in an area that leans more toward NASCAR than indycar. I hope Rusty and NASCAR paid close attention in July. Not even to mention there are multiple drivers in cup that love the track.
