A pillar of granite 25′ long that was also put there by King Solomon to mark the crossing site was discovered in the water with most of the writing deteriorated by the waves and sand. Egypt then erected it in Nuweiba.

Jul 11, 2014 · Ron Wyatt believed that both columns were erected by King Solomon to celebrate and mark the passage of the Children of Israel through the Red Sea. The inscriptions could have been translated as follows:

Jan 7, 2013 · Solomon left Pillars to mark the site of the Red Sea Crossing. Moses and the Israelites Crossed the Red Sea at Nuweiba in the Gulf of Aqaba in 1446bc. Discovered by Ronn Wyatt in 1978. A pair of pillars on the Egyptian side (Nuweiba) and the Saudi side of the the Gulf of Aqaba – The Red Sea.

We know from 1 Kings 9:27-28 that “King Solomon also built a fleet of ships at Ezion-geber, a port near Elath in the land of Edom, along the shore of the Red Sea. Hiram sent experienced crews of sailors to sail the ships with Solomon’s men.”

King Solomon had these columns erected 400 years after the miracle of the crossing of the Red Sea on dry land. Solomon's sea port was at the northern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba at Eilat (I Kings 9:26) and he was very familiar with the Red Sea crossing site, as it was in his neighborhood.

They read "This monument is erected by King Solomon, king of Israel, in honor of Yahweh in commemoration of the crossing of the Red Sea." King Solomon, in his building of the temple, had formed very good relations with the Phoenician people.

May 12, 2021 · Proponents for a Red Sea crossing at the Gulf of Aqaba highlight Paul’s statement in the New Testament, mentioning “mount Sinai in Arabia” (Galatians 4:25). Likewise, they point out a geographical association of Mount Sinai with the land of Midian (i.e. Exodus 2-3).

Nov 1, 2018 · There are 2 huge pillars on each side of the Red Sea that King Solomon set up as a memorial to the Red Sea crossing. One is found on the south end of Nuweiba Beach and the other is across the Sea on the Saudi border.

Based on an inscription, later found on a matching column on the other side of the crossing, Ron believed that King Solomon had erected these columns in honor of Yahweh and dedicated them to the miracle of the crossing of the sea.

Solomon referred to the Aqaba finger of the Red Sea, and archaeological discoveries have found two pillars he erected on each side of the Red Sea crossing. 1 Kings 9:26: King Solomon also built a fleet of ships in Ezion-geber, which is near Eloth [modern-day Eilat] on the shore of the Red Sea , in the land of Edom.
