Our Antique Log Cabins, Barns, and Outbuildings For Sale. Most structures shown here are in their original, unrestored condition. Once we acquire a structure, our process is to completely document and prepare it for rebuild on a customer site.

We specialize in locating, documenting, and restoring these historic log cabins, barns and outbuildings. These uniquely American buildings were hand crafted by our ancestors in the 18th and 19th centuries, and their original integrity and character cannot be duplicated.

Western Kentucky dogtrot cabin built from hand hewn old growth poplar with half dovetail notches. Each “pen” is 18’x18′ outer dimensions. We love dogtrots because the floor plans are so flexible!

A well-crafted 15’x17′ pine 1/2 dovetailed cabin, circa 1850. Dismantle: Each log was tagged with a metal tag. The structure was diagramed and complete measurements were taken. Then the old cabin was carefully dismantled log by log. Foundation: The cabin was built on a new foundation.

Two story Kentucky cabin that spent much of it’s life inside a barn. The surrounding structure served to preserve the log cabin. Big poplar logs avg. 18″and good original openings will make this a great restoration. Includes one floor of antique flooring.
