Our researcher Dr James Pay, has been tracking the activity of wedge-tailed eagles around Tassie. He recently tracked an eagle he has snamed Ethan's 223.5 km around the Midlands. The 6-second GPS data video below shows how Ethan moves between thermals to travel in the most energy efficient way on his journey, all of which took place between 9am and 2pm on the same day.
