“We are Peter Kirk!” Students sang enthusiastically during the ceremonial groundbreaking for Peter Kirk Elementary School on March 30. The new building will house 690 students and is expected to open in September 2019. Principal Monica Garcia said input from community, staff and students is helping guide the construction project. She said the new building will match how students and staff already feel about the school. Former Kirk Principal Rick Burden also attended in his role as Director Schoo
