On Tuesday, October 14, 2025 just before 1 p.m., Riverside Fire Department was dispatched to reports of someone who was floating down the storm canal along the 91 freeway near the metro station on La Sierra. Several additional resources were quickly dispatched, including the Riverside Fire Department swift water rescue team.
